2i Rete Gas supplies natural gas for private and industrial use. It is the second largest independent player in the gas distribution sector in Italy, serving over 4.3 million consumers through a network of approximately 66.000 km.
Our customer required a solution to review its maintenance processes and technical management of intervention orders associated to the operations.
With the OverIT solution, 2i Rete Gas can import from external systems all the data related to assets and Work Orders for the management of booking, emergency, planned and unplanned maintenance activities that have to be performed at customers’ premises. The solution allows to plan operations by dispatching activities to internal and external field operators, according to their territorial organization, availability and skillset. Furthermore, thanks to the mobile app functionalities, technicians will be able to confirm their presence on site, accept and debrief tasks, while also receiving alerts on the use of the PPE required on field.
The successful performance of activities can be certified either by compiling the data collection forms, or by the very customer through the graphometric signature. As a matter of fact, with its backend and mobile features, the OverIT solution allows to efficiently manage technicians’ debrief, and through the integration with SAP, also the remuneration of the service provided, as stipulated by the contract.
